Alan finished all his durties around the ranch as he began to tighten the cinich on the blue roan stallion that was tied to the hitch post infrom of the barn under the shade tree. Alan had already rode Monte this morning to check the cattle early this morning and wanted to go riding after he finished all his duties this afternoon so he kept Monte tied up. Alan untied the stallion and put his leg in the sturrip and lifted his body up an over the stallion and sat down in the leather tooled saddle. Alan placed his other foot in the sturrip and fixed his rein and rolled the spur into Monte's right side as the turned the left and began trotting down the lane and onto the highway.
Alan pulled on the reins alittle and Monte went from a trot to a walk so they traveled down the black top. Alan's hazel eyes scanned the horizon for anything new to pop in his vision which it did. There was a huge sign, but he couldn't read it from where he was at so he pushed Monte into a lope. As they got closer Alan rolled both spurs in Monte's bellie as Monte came into a sliding stop. Alan read" Evergreen Stables" and smiled at the sign as he turned down the road leading to the stable. Alan was a friendly person and loved talking to anyone so why not welcome this new person to Sliver Moon. Alan nudged Monte into a trot as they traveled down to Evergreen Stables.
Alan looked around the place and it was a very nice place. They were neighboring ranches so he might as well tell the owner that if any cattle got out to call him or even their horse's. Alan trotted down the stable yard with Monte head down low, but at the whicker of horse's his head picked up wanting to nicker out to the rest of the horse's. Alan reined Monte into a stop and looked around hoping to see the owner."Hello, anyone here? He asked as he sat on the back of Monte waiting for an answer.

Stepping into the air conditioned building, Sabrial made her way down the aisle. A few feet down the aisle, she stopped outside of a stall. A stall that had the name Unforgotten Rain, on a nameplate, screwed on it. The black sabino paint mare inside the stall had turned her head toward the young girl. As the mare lipped at Sabrial's hair, she couldn't help but release a soft laugh as she stepped back from the mare. "Hello girl," she commented, a smile gracing the pink lipglossed lips.
The mexican and italian girl glanced up and down the aisle of the stables, before sliding the stall door open. She grabbed the mare's lead rope and hooked it to her halter. Leading the young mare out of the stall, she started heading back down the aisle in the direction she had come. She was debating on whether or not to take the young mare on a trail ride, or if she should just put her in the paddock to play with the other equines.
Glancing around once more, she led Rain outside the stables and headed over to a paddock. Slowly, she opened the gate to the empty paddock and released Rain inside it, unhooking the lead rope. As the mare galloped around the paddock, Sabrial closed the gate and climbed up on the fence. As she sat there, she just watched the young mare run to her heart's content, before she heard the sound of someone's voice. 'Hello, anyone here?' The words seemed to drift into her ears causing her to turn her head slightly.
At the sight of the man on horseback, she offered a slight smile and said, "Hello. I'm over here." Her chocolate brown gaze looked the man and stallion over before glancing back towards her own mare; Rain, who had just decided to go investigate the man and stallion. A soft giggle escaped the girl's lips as she watched Rain prance toward the fence and showed off to the man and stallion.

Stepping off his horse as he noticed a young women glancing at him. He never knew a women would own the stables this close to him. He took one of the split reins into his hand and watched the black sabino mare prance around trying to get Monte's attention which did. Monte watched the mare and whickered toward the mare and swished his tail. Alan ran his hand over the blue roan and began to walk Monte over to the young women and grinned at the girl as they got closer. His blue eyes shining at the brown eyes looking back at him.
Hello, I'm Alan McCoy He grinned at her and stuck out his right hand to shake the young womens hand. Alan couldn't keep his eyes of the brown eyed beauty, but knew he shouldn't stare at her so he put his attention toward the paint mare. She's a beauty... Alan said as his blue eyes glanced over to the girl who was beside him and infront of him. Monte whickered again making his body shake as he tossed his head. Alan turned and looked at his stallion to give him a warning Monte settle down... He told the stallion as he stomped his back hoof. Alan looked toward the young women and the paint as she showed off to Monte and him.

As Monte watched Rain, the young mare only seemed to show off more. Though, Sabrial just watched the man and his horse. He was handsome, but she wondered why he stopped by. 'Hello, I'm Alan McCoy.' At his introduction, she smiled in response to his grin which was contagious. "It's nice to meet you, Alan. I'm Sabrial Michaels, but you can call me Sab," she responded in return. Reaching out, she took his hand in hers and shook it. Though, she used her other hand to keep her balance up on the fence.
Though, when Alan turned his attention towards Rain, Sabrial followed his gaze, but it was hard to take her eyes off of the blue eyed man near her. 'She's a beauty...' His words entered her ears. "Thanks. Her name is Unforgotten Rain, but she seems to prefer Rain," she commented in response. 'Monte settle down...' At Alan's words, she glanced toward the stallion and laughed as Monte stomped his back hoof on the ground. Rain, however, had heard the whicker of the stallion and had returned it with a whinny. As the mare made her way over towards the fence, Sabrial took the mare's head in her lap.
Though, after a few seconds, Rain turned her attention to Alan and reached out over the fence towards him and Monte. Sabrial watched the three of them, wondering what Alan and Monte would do. This was the first time Rain had ever seen another horse since she was bought by the young girl.

Alan looked at the young women at his side and listened to her name float off her lips as it reached his ears. It was a perfect name to him, but knew better than to fall head over heels for this girl. He didn't even know her that well so he would have to wait see what happens. It's nice to meet you too. He said with a grin that streched from ear to ear. Alan wasn't the greatest filrt, but hey he could try couldn't he?
Sorry to barge in on you and on your ranch. Monte and I was going for a ride around the place and I saw your ranch and thought we might stop by and say "Welcome to Silver Moon". He said with a grin and kind of laughed at himself. He sounded so corny it wasn't even unbelieveable to him. Alan looked at the paint mare as she worked her way to Sab and placed her head in the lap of the young women. When the mare turned her attention to Monte and him. Alan stuck his head out and let the mare smell his hand before he rubbed the mare's forehead. Monte on the other hand stuck his nose out to smell the mare and after he got her scent whinnyed toward her and swished his tail.Easy bud, be nice now He said with a grin and rubbed the blue roan's neck as Monte stood by the fence by the mare. Monte was a level headed stud and wasn't rude about anything unless meeting another stallion. Alan looked at Sab and smiled at her for a bit, but knew he needed to watch Monte so he didn't get mean.

As the young man beside her apologized for barging in on her and her ranch, she just merely offered a small smile in return. The rest of Alan's words just floated into her mind and rested there. Slowly, Sabrial turned away from the man and swung her legs over the side of the fence farthest from him, before she climbed off of the fence. As she stood next to the man, she looked up at him. Of course, she was a few inches shorter than him, but that was normal. "No need to apologize. And, it was very sweet of you to come and welcome me to the city. Not many people are nice enough to do that," she responded.
Sabrial watched the exchanges between Alan, Monte, and Rain. As she watched, she remained silent, even as she heard Alan speak again. Though, his words were meant for his stallion. Turning her gaze toward Rain, she noticed the young mare seemed happy, which made her smile. Rain, however, was ultimately happy. And, she wanted to play with Monte; but of course, she couldn't do that through a fence. So, instead, she pawed at the ground near the fence and snorted. Sabrial just giggled lightly at Rain's actions and glanced toward Alan. "I do believe she wants to play with Monte," she added, carefully.
