Gabriela whinnied anxiously across the pen she was staying at. She had been captured by humans when she was grazing. She was put in this pen. She didn't mind really the humans were nice and fed her. She knew that the humans were watching her. However the bay fae didn;t mind. She nickered a angelic sound erupting from her maw as she flickered her aubs back and forth listening to see if she could catch any words she knew. As the man said yes she's calm and loves to canter Gabriela flickered her aubs foward seeing if the men would notice.

The old red 89 dodge ram pulled the red gooseneck two horse trailer toward the Round up pens. She was still new around here, but she thought maybe a real wild horse will bring fun to the McCoy Ranch. Shew knew her brothers wouldn't care for a wild horse as they would rather have a nice pure-bred Quarter Horse or Paint horse at the ranch rather and a stink in-breed mustang. Well Ellie had a different plan for The McCoy Ranch. She wanted to get something that she could start and maybe make a really good ranch horse.
Ellie turned into the towns Round Up pens and pulled the truck into park and walked into the building that held the horse that needed a new horse and well Ellie wanted to give it a new home and place to live. Ellie walked into the building and saw the very pretty bay mare standing in the pen as people moved across the pen staying at the horse. Ellie grinend and knew that this mare could be her's with just little money. She pushed her way to the front and watched the mare alittle as she watched what the action was taking place in front her. Ellie wanted to know what the starting bid was before she through her hand up.

The man said to the girl"You can have this one here real cheap. 500 for a buying before the auction and the starting price for the auction if 100."
The mare nickered loudly as she heard someone approach. She flicked her auds foward as she watched the women following her every move. She wondered what she was looking for. The mare followed the women as she walked over to the men. The man said"She's real smart to and not shy. Good for a Mustang." Gabriela snorted. All this man cared about was selling her the quickest he could. She wasn't a bad horse no she was really good he just wanted her out so he could one to sell for much higher. People normally cared for well a wild fiesty stallion or mare. Not a sweet,smart mare like herself.

Ellie at the man who was standing talking about the mare. Ellie couldn't help but to raise her hand."I take a $100 for the bay mare." She said with a grin as a couple of men stood around her looking at the mare to. Ellie heard one person say to her. That is only a nag...She probley isn't a full mustang. Look at her your not gonna get your monny worth from her. Ellie turned around and glared at the man and looked him right in the eye. Ellie could stand her own, but knew not to spit all over him even if she wanted to. Ellie had fire and she knew this mare would have fire to.You just wait and see mister. This mare is gonan make a fine western horse. You all just wait and see. She grinned hoping no one would bid against her.

The man said "100 for the bay mare. Going...going....gone! Sold to the young lady." He announced.The bay stamped her hoof and pranced in place as the gavel slammed down on the wood. She looked around tring to figure out what just happened. A man came to her pen and went in. He grabbed her halter and led her out. Gabbie nickered as she stamped her hoof. Were am I going? She thought as she was led up to the lady who wad by her pen earlier. The man said"Have fun with her. No refunds though." The man walked away leaving Gabbie with the women. Gabbie looked around. All the other people around her had backed up except the women she was with. Is this my owner? She thought. The guy who had just talked to the lady left in a pick up truck with a trailer. He slammed his door shut causing the bay Arabian fae to jump at the sound but she settled down. She pricked her auds foward as she watched him drive off. Probably to catch more mustangs. She thought.

Ellie paid the man the $100 and took ahold of the bay mare. She wasn't sure what she was going to call the mare, but hopeful sooner or later she will find out. Ellie grinned and looked at the mare and loved how she looked. Ellie grinned and watched the mare and smiled.Hey sweet girl, I'm Ellie...Wanna go see your new home? She grinned and held her hand out so the mare could smell it. Ellie was ready for the mare to jump at the loud sound so she held her lead rope alittle tight. Then she began to walk toward her trailer and clicked her tounge for the mare to follow behind her.

Gabriela smelled Ellie's hand. Ellie had a grip hold of her halter as the fae had spooked. Gabriela smelled the air. She saw that most of the people were watching her with interest as the fae followed Ellie. Ellie led her toward a trailer. When Gabriela saw it she thought No way am I getting in that thing!. Gabriela followed Ellie though just a couple feet before the trailer. Gabriela stopped just a couple feet infront of the trailer step. The people around her were talking. One of the men went up to Ellie with something in his hand. The man spoke saying"Here. You'll need it. Nags like them don't need anything but a harsh rider,harsh bridle and a whip." The man handed her the whip and walked away. Gabriela turned her head watching as he turned around and said something to his friends. Whatever he said must have been funny cause they were all laughing. The fae turned her attention back to Ellie but still din't move towards the trailer.

Ellie felt the lead become tight and as she turned around she heard the man that told her that the horse she purchesed was a nag. Ellie couldn't believe what she was hearing from the man. Ellie smiled and took the whip and then tossed it in hte dirt away from her trailer.Sorry, but I have no need for that nasty thing. She looked at the bay mare. Ellie had to think about some how to get in the trailer. She knew she should of brought the stock, but her brother was using it to move cattle into pasture's. Ellie looked back at the bay mare and smiled.Don't listen to them honey. They don't know a good thing when it stands infront of them. She grinned and then walked into the trailer alittle and brought out a bucket with some grain in it. She had put it in here just in case. She took a handle full and held it in her hand.Here sweetie, take a nibble of this. There is more where this came from She said with a grin and kept the hand extended out for the mare to take a bit of grain.

Gabriela walked foward a couple of steps and gentle took the grain from Ellie's hand. Ellie said something to her and Gabriela perked up her auds. Gabriela sighed and took a couple more steps foward trying to reach the bucket of grain that was in the trailer. Gabriela took a step onto the trailer and tried to get the grain but couldn't. She stepped foward another couple of feet. She finally got another bite of grain without going in the trailer. She then figured out that it was easier to get a horse in if they were alreayd half way in, which Gabriela was. She sighed and figured that it wasn't worth putting up a fight. She got all the way in the trailer and grabbed another bite of grain.

Ellie grinned and looked around the place and walked into the back and placed the bucket on the latch so the bay mare could eat it on their way home. Ellie slipped out the side door and went to the back where someone already had shut the gates, but Ellie wanted to make sure the gates were locked before she drove away and something happened to her new pony. Ellie locked them alittle better adn then went to the front of the truck and jumped in the truck and drove toward home.

Gabriela lowered her head and took another bite of her oats when someone closed the trailer door. She heard some rattling probably checking to make sure the door was closed and then a door close. There was a jolt and then they were moving. Gabriela wondered were she was going and what she would be doing. She made a promise that she would always behave so that way she wouldn't ever have to be sold again. She had been sold to many times and put in a trailer to many times. Even freedom had it's prices depending on your self for food and shelter. No protection and worse being captured again.
