a stallion was roaming in the stage place, trying to find a herd that will take him in, he was tired and lonely, he just wanted a family, his family (herd) left him, he had to grow up on his one put than a human toke him in and raised him until he was 2. his owner had to let him free because she couldn't afford to have a horse. now he roams the Continent, looking for a herd, or mare.he finds a big tree with a lot of shade. lays down and shuts his eyes and falls asleep. he starts to dream, and his dream was, 'finding a herd that will take him in, and treat him like a son, or a mare he can start a herd with, he would be happy with ether one.' he just lies their, sleeping and waiting for a herd or mare.

Rafael sniffd the air. Intruder. He thought as smelled stallion on his land. He trotted away from the watering hole and galloped towards the edge of his border between his land and the outskirts. "What are you doing here?" He asked his voice threatening. If this stallion came to take his mares he'd better think again. The stallion was sleeping and Rafael hoped he woke him up. Could he not smell the scent of stallion already or not. The stallion looked about three or four maybe older maybe younger give or take maybe a year or two. The buckskin stallion waited for an answer as he pawed the ground.

Dusk woke up so quick to the sound of a hoof.Oh, I'm sorry if I'm in you land but i mean no harm, i roam the continent to see if i can find a herd or a mare cause my original herd left me when i was a foal put a human took me in until i was 2, but she had to let me go. i mean no harm. if you want me to leave, I'll leave. Dusk start to walk away from the stallion, in sadness, with his head hanging low.

"It's fine." The buttermilk buckskin stallion siad. Should he take pity on this stallion or drive him away. Perhaps he could subherd. However he didn't ahve time to make an offer as the stallion walked away. Rafe said"Wait. You can subherd and have two mares if you wsh. My name is Rafael and what might yours be?" The stallion said again to the young stallion. The stallion walking away that had been standing before him was only two or three. He fealt a sense of pity come over him. Already the young stalklion lost two homes. Besides if the stallion accepted he would have a home and Rafael in return would be stronger in numbers incase of a raid.

The name is Dusk and, yes i would love to help you sub herd. Dusk said, trotting to Rafael, in a happy way.sir, i was just asking, how many horses do you have in your herd? he asked Rafael, looking at him. waiting for an answer.

"Nice to meet you Dusk." The buttermilk buckskin stallion replied. The stallion standing before him,Dusk accepted his offer to subherd. "Please none of that sir stuff. I have two mares in my herd right now." Rafael replied to Dusk's question about how many horses he has in his herd. Rafe hoped to get some more and would eventually go to the abdobe or santuary and see if any mares wanted to join him if there were any mares there that is of course. Rafael hadn't seen his mares Danza and Valium,Val for short since last night. He figured that Valium was still resting after last night's trouble with another stallion.

Well if you want me to i can go to those places and get some new mares for you and me and if you want me to, i will. Dusk said to Rafael in a positive way, hoping he will say yes. so he can go and come back to the herd with new mares.

Rafael replied."You can to go get new mares but i won't not right now. Thankyou for offering though Dusk." Rafael replied. He didn't want to crush the stallions hope but it was very likely that there probably weren't any mares in the abdobe or santuary anyway. Rafael was lucky that the humans didn't capture any of his mares. They tried to capture mares or stallions or both every month. He wasn't sure sbout the other herds though but it was none of his concern. The buttermilk buckskin stamped a hoof on the ground as a fly landed on him. The fly buzzed away.

OK, maybe another time we would go but now we must go back to the herd to make sure they are OK. Dusk said to Rafael looking at him waiting for him to replay. he had stomped his foot on the ground as a fly landed on his foot.

Rafael sighed. "They should fine for now. I still have to go check the other broders of the land." The buckskin stallion said as he swished his tail before trotting off towards the other border which was on the other side of his land. He soon got there out of breath because he had cantered the minute he had reeached were the waterfall was. He stopped and pawed the ground before raising his head and scenting the air for any smell of intruders: stallions perhaps or mares. He coudn't smell any other horses that had been there except for that brute that had harmed his lead mare; Valium.

"May i come with you Rafael?" dusk had said swishing his tail with his ears pointed at him, with a steady look meaning he's focused on Rafael waiting for him to answer him, while he waits for the answer, he trots up to the waterfall, drinking some of it. later after he is done,he pulls up his head. he stomps his hoof, shaking the fly off of his hoof. he starts to look at the most beautiful waterfall he has ever seen, as he looks farther and farther down the waterfall, he sees his reflection in the little body of water, also looking at all the living things in the water. like the fish and the tadpoles and other thing in the water.

Rafael listened to the stallion before him ask if he could come with him when he patrolled the borders. He thought for a couple minutes before making a descision. "Sure i guess. It'll be fine. Come on." He said as he waited for the stud to finish drinking from the waterfall. He left off at a slow trot making his way to the northern border. He passed tree's and a small stream on the way there. Finally he made it to the northern border. He scented the air satsified that there was no scent of any horse there. He waited for Dusk to catch up.

Dusk trotted up to Rafael, swishing his tale side to side, catching up to Rafael. when Dusk catches up to Rafael he sniffs the air and then he snorts.'no horses here' Dusk said to himself thinking how the rest of his life will go, with Rafael and the 2 mares. he will go on patrol to make sure their are no stallions that will take the herd. having foals (possibly). having new mares in the herd. all those great things. after Rafael had checked the northern boarder he moved on to the next boarder. Dusk had followed Rafael to the next boarder.

Recently, a wild stallion had entered the lands and caused a lot of mischief; as well as harming the lead mare; Valium. However, she seemed content to just ignore the gash on her withers. As she rested under a tree, it didn't take long before the scent of her lead stallion, and another stallion entered her range of smell. Rising to her hooves, she slowly maneuvered her form towards where the scents were coming from. With ease, she moved into an easy trot. Her mind clearly erasing the pain, no matter how much it hurt. As she neared the two, she glanced from her lead stallion to the other stallion. The young appaloosa maiden had yet to find a mate, of her own. But, it was clear that she was quite content in being the lead mare of the lands. Though, there were times she wished that she had someone to snuggle with at night, someone to have foals with. And, even someone that she could love. But, so far, that seemed unlikely. She easily shook the thoughts from her mind as she came to a stop near them. However, she didn't go any closer to them. After all, after her last encounter with a strange stallion; she wasn't about to tempt another stallion to harm her. "Hello..." She murmured. The lyrics easily leaving her larynx as she watched the two of them.

"hello?" said a voice behind Dusk.Dusk turned his head, slowly and got a gimps of who was behind him. Dusk turned around to get a better look at the horse. he turned around, and sees a mare that had a badly gash on her withers. she was still a beautiful mare. Dusk had stopped thinking about the patrol around the borders. he look into her eyes. Dusk saw fear in her eyes. Dusk shook the thought off his mind. 'she must be Rafael's lead mare, Valium.' Dusk assumed. "Hello, my name is Dusk, you must be Valium, Rafael's lead mare, i see, the story is true. I am so sorry that happened." Dusk said to Valium.

The buckskin stallion turned his head as he flicked his auds back at the sound of hoofbeats approaching the two stallions talking. It was Valium,Val for short, his lead mare. "Hello." She said to them her voice melidous. Dusk spoke. Rafael waited for him to be done before he spoke"Hello Val. How's that gash doing?" He said. His lead mare had gotten that gash from a previous stallion so that was reason enough to fear stallions. The appaloosa fae looked somewhat troubled. "What is it Val? You look troubled." He asked and stated to the mare. The buckskin stallion flicked his auds back.

'Hello, my name is Dusk. You must be Valium, Rafael's lead mare. I see the story is true. I am so sorry that happened.' The lyrics of the strange stallion entered her auds causing them to merely flick in response. Even for an injured mare, she couldn't help but love the attention that both stallions were casting upon her. Shaking her tiara, her mane easily flowed in the breeze. But, she still remained standing where she was. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Dusk," she stated, ignoring the part about the story being true. Because, unfortunately, it was true. Her gaze shifted towards the buckskin stallion that she knew. A small smile coming to grace her facade as she shifted towards him a bit. 'Hello Val. How's the gash doing?' At his question, she stopped in her tracks. "It's alright, no worse. Though, it still hurts, but thankfully I can ignore it," she answered in response. 'What is it Val? You look troubled.' At his curious question, she thought about how best to answer that. "Nothing. Just wary, you know, after last night," she responded, the lyrics easily leaving her vocals.

I think we should get going now.Uh....what border next Rafael?Dusk said to Rafael.hey, Rafael do you want me to escort Valium home while you finish patrolling the borders, so , you now, if something happens I'll be their, to make sure she get home safely and soundly home with no harm or any more attacks or threat? He said to Rafael, so he can be still be patrolling to make sure no other horses are in his territory, while hes lead mare is going home with someone he can rely one to make sure she get home safely.
