Rafael lead the way back from the abdobe with his lead mare,Valium following him. He stopped as they entered his land which was knwon as The Garden Of Eden. "Here we are Val." He said to her as he looked around at his land. He only had one other mare who went by the name of Danza. Rafael was happy with two mares but he had always hoped of three mares or more in his herd but he was very happy with two. He hadn't seen Danza in a day but hoped she was ok. He glanced up at the sky. It was sunset. Good. We made it before night. The buttermilk buckskin thought. He didn't like to travel in the dark if necessarcy but he could if he had to.

"her words." | 'other's words.' | her thoughts.
The deserted fields of the Garden of Eden lay filled with fresh grass and millions of tiny insects; just waiting for a victim to bother. The only thing is, she knew there were other equines here besides for her and her lead stallion. But, she had yet to see any of them. Even though their scents were in the air.
A million sounds seemed to be flowing in a soft breeze that blew through the field. The wind whistling through the walls of trees; almost sounding like music. A young maiden pranced her way towards the Garden of Eden. This was the first time she had ever been here, and knew it wouldn't be the last time. After all, she was a mare in a stallion's herd. And, not just any mare. But, the Garden of Eden's Queen.
And, like most herd leaders, she was always in search of equines for her herd. Wanting the beautiful lands she called home, to be filled with the noise of happy equines; and eventually the pitter patter of little hooves. Hopefully, though, she hoped one day to have her own offspring. But, she'd only ever allow a stud she cared about to be the father. However, things happen; including forcebreedings. But, so far this year; she was lucky.
And so, the story goes back to the young maiden; a three-year-old, roan appaloosa mare. She continued to make her way towards the land. Her dance-like motions fluid and almost show-offish. Her white/gray mane and tail flowing in the wind behind her as she moved. Though, as the breeze blew over her form, she caught the scent of her lead stallion and smiled softly.
Slowing a bit, she moved into a walk closer to where Rafael stood. Fortunately for her, she still had some alone time the stallion. But, she wasn't going to get her hopes up. Especially since most lead stallions usually never chose a mate and just bred every mare in their herd. As the stallion's form came into view, she stopped a few feet away from him and just gazed at him. A soft snort escaped her nares, but she glanced around at her surroundings. "Hello," Valium greeted the buckskin stallion. Though, she let her gaze drift around the lands once more; taking in the entire lands she would now call home.

Rafael smiled. He hadn't seen Danza yet and figured she was exploring his land, The Garden Of Eden. He scented the air scents coming to his nares. So far he could smell only Danza and his queen,Valium. However she preffered to be Val so that was what the buckskin called her. She came up behind and him and snorted softly. "Hi."The appaloosa fae said. Rafael spoke responding to her comment. "Hello Val." He said to the appaloosa fae.
He one day hoped that his curently small herd of two mares would eventually have a couple more mares and maybe the hooves of little ones playing around. He hoped so but he never did what his mares didn't want to. The buckskin stallion loved the plains. It was open spaced but did have a groove of tree's around the were his territory ended and another's began. He had yet to see a stallion claim it yet which was just fine with him. The Garden Of Eden also had a couple of caves perfect for sleeping in or for shelter should a storm or something came around. His land also had a waterfall that fell into a small pool of water. The waterfall was on a cliff and flowed all the way down in the pool. You could hear it's rushing water a couple feet into his land. The buckskin stallion spoke breaking the odd and awkward silence that had surronded them "Would you like me to show you around the land?" He offered his lead mare. After all she should know were everything was in his land.
He was lucky that he had two mares in his herd. He knew most stallions here didn't have a mare at all or some had only one mare.

Danza trotted along with Rafael and the new lead mare, Valium. She nudged Rafael "Im going to explore the land.." She nickered so he made sure he knew where she would be. She trotted around the Garden of Edem. Like a little filly. She was as well looking for other mares to join the herd.
She then galloped around, soon she sniffed the air and could smell Rafael's scent, not even Valium. She snorted in panic and went to gallop back the way she started. Her path was blocked by another stallion. He seemed a bit bigger and stronger than Rafael. The stallion nudged Danza the other way. She reared and bucked at the strange stallion. "I've been looking for a mare my whole life and they always escaped me. But this time your not going anywhere" The stallion said to her in fury. He nudged her harder off her trail to go back to Rafael's herd. She whinnied as loud as she can for Rafael's help, or even Valium's.

Valium's gaze had locked on Rafael's form at the sound of his question. But, something seemed to drag her attention away from the lead stallion. A loud whinny pierced the air and entered her auds causing her to glance in the direction. Snorting, she took off at a gallop towards where Danza and the stallion were. Her long limbs carried her towards the two, but instead of stopping behind the stallion, she galloped in front of him and slid to a halt blocking their paths. "Let her go," she ordered, her voice dripping with venom in warning. She wouldn't allow the stallion to take the young mare away, not while she was around. The appaloosa maiden glared at the stallion and glanced toward Danza, waiting for her to move behind her.

"Ok Danza." He said as she came over to him and Val. GHe watched as she trotted away from them. Rafael pircked his twin towers back as he heard a whinny from were Danza had gone when she went off to explore the land. He watched as Val trotted off towards the whinny. Rafael not far behind his lead mare. He scented the air and the scent of a stallion entered his nares. He galloped after his lead. His long pillars pumping like pistons uip and down. He got therequickly as he heard Val say"Let her go." Her voice dripping with venom. Rafael snorted and came up next to Val."I woudl if i were you." He advised. He didn't take kindly to strangers in his land especially stallions and he could tell his lead felt the same way. The buckskin's eyes were like ice as he spoke again advising the stallion."Again I'd go. She doesn't take kindly to strangers and neither do I. So if you want to leave without injuries leave now." He said his voice as cold as ice as he glared at the stallion.

Danza sighed in relief was Val came, and then Rafael. She went to trot behind Val but the stalion reared and stomped the ground in fury. He started to buck at the lead mare Val and then Rafael. Most of all he knocked Val in her withers. Danza whinnied in panic and then started to attack the stallion back. This was her fault for going away too far, it's her fight. She reared and struck the stallion in the neck. Hoping to break his neck.
The stallion collasped onto the ground and nickered in pain. She snorted back. "No one messes with the herd!!" She reared to smash the stallion again but soon just landed hard on the ground near his head. He should be luck she didn't kill him. She looked over at Rafael and then Val, who must be wounded from that attack. "Im sorry, Rafael and Valium. I promise this won't happen again.. It's my fault for going off too far." She apologized to them with sadness in her eyes. She looked around and found a herb behind one of the bushes. She grabbed two of them with her muzzle and gently put them on the slight gash in Valium's withers.

Rafael watched as the stallion threw a kick at Val. He hoped his lead dodged it. Rafael saw Danza rear up and throw a kick at his neck. Rafael replied to Danza as she apologized for going to far. "It's ok. You had every right to explore and you didn't cross onto another's land. It's not your fault Danza. If anyone's faults it's his." He said as he glared at the stallion who was on the ground in pain. He held back a small chuckle. The stallion sure seemed in agony but it was what he deserved. If Danza had not kicked him Rafael would have. He was going to but Danza beat him to it.
"Come on. Let's get back. I'm sure he won't mess with us again?" He said to his lead, Val and Danza. He watchd as the stallion attempted to struggle to get up. Danza sure did a number on his neck alright. The stallion would probably be sore for weeks if not months but oh well. He got what he deserved.

The appaloosa vixen felt hooves touch her at her withers before she felt the pain course through her form. Snorting, she took a step backwards from the strike as Danza started attacking the stallion. Turning her head, she tried to look at the slight gash on her withers before turning her attention back to the aggressive stallion. She tried to not let the pain of the wound bother her, even though it continued to hurt. At the sound of the apology, she just seemed to shrug it off. Before long, she felt pressure on her withers as she noticed Danza press herbs against the slight gash. Another snort escaped her flared nares. But, she made no other sound besides for the snort.

Danza still sighed sadly from galloping off though. She saw Valium snort from the herb, so she gently took it off and the gash seemed to heal slightly. It didn't swell or anything but she let the wound take it away from there. She heard Rafael comment about heading back. She nodded in agreement.
As she followed behind the leads which seem to walk beside each other, she followed them all the way back from where they started. She just let the leads go to their spot where they would watch other the herd, or at least her. She stayed in the middle of it all and just started to graze silently.

Rafael watched. The stallion had seemed to have thrown the kick at Valium alright. There was now a slight gash on her whither but Danza had put a herb on it. "We should probably get back or i can show you around if you want." He and offered to his lead and Danza. Rafael guessed though that the gash would probably heal in a day or two but it was just a guess. You really never knew but it seemed that way. The stallion's neck though it was badly bruised but it was ok with him. The stallion would probably bother nobody ever again especially after this 'accident'. The buttermilk buckskin looked at the sky. It was now almost dark so it wasn't the best time to go show the land to them but horses had excellent night vision of course but everything would look much prettier when it was light out and not pitch darkness not to mention nocturnal predators would/could be out.

Valium listened to Rafael's words as they entered her ears. Nodding slowly, she walked behind the two of them, instead of beside the lead stallion. Her gaze drifted around before it seemed to drift back towards the stallion. Though, she turned her attention back ahead of her. Her movements slow as she tried to keep the pain from getting worse. She knew infection could settle in over night, but she hoped it wouldn't happen. Though, she had a feeling if it did, she might end up turning to the two-leggers for help. But, she hoped if it came down to that...that they would let her go back to her herd.

As night fell, Danza nudged Valium gently, not by the withers where the gash was though. "Valium, I would like to put some herbs that i learned when i was filly on your gash, so it wouldn't have an infection. Trust me, I'll be very gentle.." She said calmly. She then looked over at Rafael for some confirmation.
He and Valium can trust her, she learned about herbs very well and use to heal lots of her older herd members from her older herd. She silently sniffed the air ahead to see if she can smell the herbs she needed.

Rafael nodded as Danza spoke to Val and looked to him for confirmation "Better her then the two-leggers Val." He said sensibly. If so they might not let her go back to the herd. Then they'd be with out a lead mare and he'd have to find a new lead mare. The sky was now dark. They should get going. He lead the way back to the caves. He stopped a little bit down the path to check and make sure Danza and Val were following him. There is a couple caves a way in his land. He could faintly see the caves in the dark night sky.

Valium felt the nudge that Danza cast upon her form. Snorting softly, she glanced between Danza and Rafael. 'Valium, I would like to put some herbs that i learned when I was filly on your gash, so it wouldn't have an infection. Trust me, I'll be gentle..' Valium continued to glance between the two of them as she listened to their words. 'Better her then the two-leggers, Val.' Carefully, Valium followed after her lead stallion. "Alright. Though, wait until we get to a safe place," she commented in response. Though, her strong limbs continued to carry her after Rafael.

Rafael's long limbs carried him at a relativly medium pace. They got the caves. Rafael said"Alright. Here we are." He said to his lead mare, Valium or Val as she liked to be called and Danza. He had yet to get more mares but he didn't mind having two mares were as the other stallions had one or they had no mares. The warm summer air would probably be there for the rest of the night. It was dark now but they could all see just fine. Rafael was taken back in time to a past memory of his were he was running along his mom in the dark as they ran to a pair of tree's and slept there for a night. Rafael shook his head as a fly landed on his neck and reminding himself of no more flashbacks. Flashbacks were dangerous now that he had a herd to take care of.
