`LAKE BUNDY i think i know what you’re getting at
Lake walked quietly through the adobe, keeping himself almost-silent as he observed. There was a long, powerful rope hooked onto the back of his belt—didn’t want to startle any of the wild horses that might be about. L could still sense human presence in this part of Silver Moon, but he assumed that the woods got thicker and more untouched if one were to go on. It was already a gorgeous forest, but Lake could see human footprints and trails in certain areas. He figured that any wild horse would be unsettled with the scents and sights, but they had to learn to live with it. It wasn’t as if a horse’s instincts would steer it wrong (though they probably would). After visiting the auction a few times, he gave up and decided to take things into his own hands. It might be hard to break in a wild horse, but the young man felt up to the challenge. It would be tough to do it on foot, but L thought he might attempt it before borrowing somebody elses equine; he didn’t want to seem too pathetic. The man missed his andalusians, but there was nothing he could do about that. With the softest sigh imaginable, Lake stopped at a sound that gave him hope. He stood absolutely still, blue eyes glancing around the area.

Having followed a mare around all day long the old stallion had struck out when she turned around and bit him on the nose. It had been a shame too she was so pretty. Oh why didn't she want to be with him. Sure the mare was ten years younger then him, but come on he is still a nice looking stallion. Snorting as he moved away from her he gave the mare a sad look before he galloped away. Running away from the mare who chased him with her ears pinned and her teeth wanting to rip his flesh some more then the prick her teeth had done before.
Galloping out into the abdobe he almost crashed into a human. Coming to a stop he reared up about three feet away. His hooves kicking upwards as he turned away from the human. His brown eyes looked around him as he found himself stuck between a human and an angry mare. Moving away from the human as he landed he tried to rush back into the trees, but the fear of an annoyed mare kept him at bay from them. Snorting the stallion pinned his ears back and pawed at the ground as he looked at Lake.

`LAKE BUNDY i think i know what you’re getting at
Lake listened intently, definitely sure he was hearing the sound of pounding hooves. Excitement prickled his mind, sparking adrenaline and anticipation. He moved forward just a bit, being careful to keep quiet. He probably didn’t stand much of a chance against a galloping horse, but he had to at least give it a try. L’s left hand rested firmly on the rope, ready to whip it out at any second. The man’s blue eyes flicked around nervously, noting that the running was now louder and coming from the trees. His heart raced wildly—how stupid to do this on foot!—as a muscular horse came galloping out of the woods. Lake gasped loudly, fear blazing suddenly. The animal stopped and reared, nearly killing L and scaring the living hell out of him. He spluttered at their proximity, but the adrenaline coursing through his veins allowed him to quickly regain composure. L could still hear hoofbeats vaguely, but his focus stayed on the gorgeous creature before him. He had no idea why the wild horse was sticking around, but he didn’t dare take the time to question it. His gaze was on the spotted animal, one hand out in a calming gesture and the other unhooking the rope from his belt. “Hey. . . Hey, there, friend. Shhh. It’s okay.” His voice was low, calm, and soothing; L was acting as if he knew what he was doing so as not to spook the horse.
