Spring Bounce(Bruce)

[Love]

Glory followed Bruce to his land. "Are we here?" She asked as she lookedf around. Bruce had been right. This land was peaceful and beautiful. The perfect place to have a herd. She wondered how he had found it. The fae smiled as she looked around again. The land was perfect. Glory saw a small valley in the land. Glory wondered were the land ended and a new one began. Glory wondered if there would be more horses or if it would just be Bruce and her together. There was certanlly enough room for more horses but it was just the question of if Bruce wanted more mares or if some mares accepted if he wanted more mares. This land was perfect. Glory couldn't think of another word to describe this land better then perfect. Glory said"It's lovely Bruce." The fae said. Her voice sounding like it had come from angels itself.

[Henley]

Bruce smiled as his first response. "Yes it is. Gorgeous right?" He shifted around the long grassy meadows swaying in the breeze. He hoped to get more herd members soon. It had been a long walk and the sun had just set. A gray shadow set across the land making it seem even more peaceful. The rabbit were burrowing into the ground awaiting a dark slumber. He looked at Glory. She seemed to be even prettier as the dark shadows made the white on her coat stand out. "Thank you. I'm thinking of getting more members, but you'll be the most special." Bruce said with a mischievous grin. He turned to the mare his muzzle just inches from hers. His mind was racing. What was he going to do? He couldn't think straight and lust just washed over him. I hate hormones! Bruce thought sharply. He waited for the feeling to pass with the same grin plastered onto his face, but it just got stronger and stronger. He didn't know what to do.

Glory nodded and said"Yes it sure is." The sun had just set. Glory smiled as she looked around. The sun setting or rising always made everything so pretty in Glory's opinion."Good. It'll be good to have more members more protection if there are foals running around." The fae said approvingly. Bruce's muzzzle was just a few inches away from the fae;s. Glory smiled as she looked into Bruce's eyes. They were a deep lucious brown. Almost chocolate brown. They seemed to melt her soul as she looked into them. Ugh! Hormones. She thought. Bruce had a smile on his face. Glory wondered why but didn't ask.

[Henley]

Bruce couldn't control himself. His mind was on autopilot and wouldn't stop. Common sense finally washed over the brute. He shook his head. "Man I'm beat. That was a really long journey. Well let's hope it's gonna be a good night, 'cause I need some rest." Bruce said hoping to break the awkwardness. He chuckled softly. He still couldn't believe what an idiot he had been. He should've made a move, or done nothing at all, but his heart had gotten the best of him. As he chuckled he lightly brushed his muzzle against her neck. I_ recomend the spring water, it's fresh and cold." Bruce said trying to sound hospitable. A purple sheen flowed over his coat making him seem to be glowing violet.

Glory smiled at Bruce. It was kind of akward. The silence. Bruce spoke and then he chuckled. Glory wondered why he chuckled but didn't ask. Bruce spoke again. He recommending the spring water to drink. Glory nodded and said"Ok. Thanks." She said to him. What luck. She had only been in the abdobe for a couple hours before Bruce offered to be a part of his herd. She smiled as a pretty purple sheen came over the Fresians black ebony coat. The sun was now starting to set. The walk from the abdobe to Bruce's land had been far.

Bruce smiled. The only reason he chuckled so much was because he was nervous. His chuckle was a deep rumbling sound that was very soothing. He had charm, and manners but his shy personality took over his charm. He had always been envious of stallion who made mares laugh and seem at ease. He mostly catered to a mare;s needs and stayed quiet. Claiming a land had been a huge leap for him. He just had done it to break his cowardly habits. He was slowly getting friendlier, and Glory was defineately helping him. He looked at Glory. "Follow me then!" He neighed softly. He trotted to the spring an dipped his muzzle in. The cold water felt nice against hos hot and sore body. He had just noticed how big the spring was. It was big enough to fit three horse. He slid in gracefully. He culd easily keep his head up but swim at the same time. "Come on in!" Bruce nickered to Glory.

Glory smiled. His chuckle was soothing to her. He said to follow him. Glory did. They arrived at the spring. This must be what Bruce was talking about. Glory thought. "Come on in." Bruce said. Glory oblidged and got in the cool springs. It felt good after that hot summer,day. It was probably 80 degree's in the afternoon and jsut now was cooling off. Glory bet it would still be hot though through the night.

Bruce swam around churning the water harshly. He came up behind Glory and spashed water on her back. He quickly dove back under. He let out a breath causing a flurry of bubbles to fly up. He then dove to the bottom and pushed up. He shot towards the top of the water and came about half a foot above the water before lazily splashing back in causing water to fly everywhere including Glory's directioon. He looked at her with a funny guilty face spread across his face's features.Loops.L he said softly. He waited for the fae's wrath.

Glor wondered were Bruce went she felt cold water on her back. "I'll make you regret that Bruce!" She called out joking with him. As the black stag dove back under the water Glory waited for him to appear again. He'd have to come up again for air and Glory would get him good when he did. When he came up though he mad a huge splash everywere when he landed. The blue roan mare would now make him regret what he did even more. "Oops." He said. "Oops indead." Glory replied back. She splashed him in the face with some water.

[Henley]

Bruce chuckled. "Oh yeah?" He said teasingly swiming to the other end. He quickly swam back and dove under again. This time he went below her and tried to knock out her feet. He then pyshed to the surface and took a long gulp. As she said her second comment Bruce looked confused at her. Then felt the cold water on his face. Lhow dare you!" He said in a mock authoritive tone. He felt like a colt again. How he missed his childhood. It would be fun to be younger, but he felt happy right now. Something about Glory made his heart beat faster, his mind race, and made him at ease.

Glory smiled as Bruce went to the other end. He then took a drep breath and dove under the water. Glory kept moving her feet so Bruce couldn't knock them out. She gave a laugh of satisfaction as Bruce looked stumped and confused by her second comment."How dare you?"He said to her,mocking the fae. She splashed some more ater at him as she laughed. It made he feel like a filly again playing in the spring water again. She had never really had a child hood due to her history. Sure she played with the other's a couple of times.

Bruce smiled at the clever mare. He had to give her credit, she was amazing. He laughed with her smiling the whole time, now this was how life should always be. He gave her a questioning look before diving under. He had avoided her second attempt to splash water all over him. He came back up, feeling refreshed and renewed. He couldn't believe how fun he was having. He then swam a few inches in front of Glory's muzzle. He flashed her a grin brefore playfully trying to nip her muzzle. "I have a question to ask you Glory. Would you like to be the lead mare of this currently small herd?" Bruce asked shyly looking at her face.

Dang it! I missed. The blueroan Andalusian thought as Bruce ducked her splash of water towards him. He then swam towards me untill he was a few inches from her muzzle. He flashed the fae a grin before trying to nip her muzzle playfully. Glory doged and laughed as he did it. "I have a question to ask you Glory. Would you like to be the lead mare of this currently small herd?" Bruce asked her. Glory replied to him"Yes Bruce. I'd love to." She said to the Fresian stallion. She looked up at the sky. It was almost pitch black as the fae looked at the sky.

Bruce looked at Glory in surprise as she dodged him. He sighed at her answer. "Good 'cause I need a boss around here." Bruce said jokingly. He followed his comment with a chuckle. "Well I'm beat. Why don't I show you where we sleep?" Bruce said sliding out of the spring. He smiled and shook his pely hoping to get some of the water off. Why was he so not nervous? He didn't mind though. He trotted along to the large cave toward the end of the clearing. He turned to see if Glory was following. "Big enough for at least 30 horses." Bruce stated softly.

Glory laughed at Bruce's comment. She got out of the water and shook her pelt. She was hoping to get some water off. It did only it came aiming for Bruce. Bruce left the spring and Glory followed him. When he checked to see if she was following him she smiled at him. She followed him to a large cave that was almost at the end of the clearing. "Big enough for at least 30 horses." The black stallion stated when they got in to the cave. Why am i nervous around him?She thought. It must be hormones.The blue roan fae thought again.

Bruce chuckled as he watched Glory shake off. He laughed even harder when the water on Glory's pelt came and splashed his face. Bruce watched as the blue roan fae followed him to the cave. He was starting to get nervous. How could he explain how he felt about Glory? Why was he so nervous. She seemed a little nervous, but she was in a new land, she had reason to. He easily flashed a smile at the mare. He felt so happy. He snorted and looked back at the cave. "Alright here's your bed." Bruce said thrusting his head in the direction of a grass bed. "It's quite comfy." He stated matter of factly.

Glory smiled as Bruce laughed when she splashed him with water. She smiled at him holding back a laugh. Bruce flashed her a smile when they reached the cave. The big black Fresian stallion said"Alright here's your bed." He said to her. He thrust his head in the direction of a grass bed. "It's quite comfy." He stated to her matter of factly almost. She smiled. The sun was setting now. The sun was setting right now but it still wasn't almost set. The sky hadn't turned the colors it does when the sun sets.

Bruce chuckled softly as Glory smiled. She seemed to smile so easily. Why couldn't he be like that?

Glory nodded as Bruce chuckled. His laugh was soothing to those who have heard it and to those who probably haven't. The sun had now set but it was still light out a bit."Come on silly." She said over her shoulder as the blue roan fae entered the cave in the black Fresian's land. His land was peacefull and calm. You could probably hear a bird call in the silence that had now surronded them. Glory loved it here and she had lust in her eyes for a brief second. It ended just as quickly as it came but the fae couldn't be sure that Bruce hadn't seen it when it entered her eyes and left her eyes just as quickly.
