Brook pulled her car up at the Silver Moon Ranch bar. Since she applied for a job at the bar, she decided to start working today. She stepped out of the car and slammed the door shut and stuffed the keys in her pockets. She walked into the bar pushing the glass door open. As she entered she saw a couple of guys sitting at the bar waiting to order. She wondered where the last girl/boy who worked at the bar was. He or she was suppose to wait until Brook came to take over her shift before they left.
She shrugged at the thought but just went over behind the bar to take people's orders. She put on a black waist apron and in one of the pockets was a pen and a notepad to record orders as she goes around, in case she forgets. She grabbed the notepad and pen and wrote the date.
She went around the people who were sitting in the seats at the bar. Her mother use to work at a bar like Brook is going now. She's taught Brook about the basics if in the future Brook wanted to work at the bar like her mother. Brook was glad she took some of the basic lessons from her mother. So far working at the bar was smooth sailing.
