Queen and Adam made there way to the side of the Sun as Bleu and Courtney's dog took off up the steep hill. Trees were thick, but the dogs managed to weave in and out of them easily. Lily and Cooper made there way to Bleu and the other female dog. Clicking her tongue, Willow was off at a fast walking pace once again, with Sun behind her and Queen on his right. Bella heard Courtney's question. With her index finger, she pointed to the first mountain that rose. "Just right over there. Adam added in with, "Yea over there before the mountains start, there is a lake. It's beautiful over there. I've only even been told about it." He pictured the large clear lake that sat at the bottom of the mountain.

Courtney watched Roxie play with the other dog named Bleu that had chased her down the stairs this morning. Roxie was having a bunch of fun and followed the other dog up the hill a nd through the tree's that was in the woods. Courtney couldn't help but to giggle at Roxie as she ran through the trees and actual played like a real dog. Courtney saw teh first moutain and smiled. It sure was a beautiful sight as she could just imagian the lake that was held by the mountains. Thats where I'm going. Courtney told herself as she always wanted to be somewhere beautiful and if they said it was then it had to be beautiful.Wow, I wonder how to get over there? She said maybe she could find the way herself and maybe come back and take them over to the lake hidden by the mountains.

Adam heard Courtney giggled and smiled. She was really opening up from when she first got here. "Well there is a river over there but it is really wide and we don't have a boat strong enough to go through its currents." Adam had seen large logs and just little sticks floating past at a, what he thought was a, dangerously fast pace for a river. Bella looked back, "Do you wanna see it?" Looking at Courtney. She knew that the river had to be lower at this point with the hot and humid weather they had been having. She raised her eyebrow and waited for the young girls' answer.

Courtney looked towards Adam as he said that there was river, but it had strong currents.Great, I guess I'll have to walk.She thought to herself as she tried to figure out where she was going to be heading next. She didn't know why she wanted to leave town when she could dig out of trash barrels because when she was out on her own she wouldn't have no way to eat. Even though Courtney picked up a trade of making snares and catching rabbits and any other small rodents. Courtney shook her head yes, but words came out aswell.Yes Please.Courtney was taught manners by her father and it wasn't always the nice way. She picked up Please and Thank you very fast and same with Yes Sir No Sir.

With a nod Bella nudged Willow into a slow trot and without warning Sun followed. Queen followed with the dogs on her hooves. Willow slowed to a halt as Bella and the others approached the river. Adam slid off the saddle, "It looks like we could cross, but we would have to lead the horses across." The man looked at his sister and then up a Courtney. "What do you say?" Bella slid off and Willow walked over to Queen. The two mares stood quietly together. That is how those two would cross the waters, together. With Willow nose to hindquarters with Queen. Sun and his young rider would take the lead.
