Rianna walked through the auctions. She was looking for a horse. She walked through the pens and stopped at a few pens going in and taking a look at them. She stopped by a chestnut mare. She was pretty an Arabian only two. Rianna ducked through a fence and came in. She ran her hand down the mare's legs and picked up her hooves. She sure seemed sound. "How much?" She asked the man by the gate. She seemed ok and no problems. She looked about 15.2 hands. "Whats her name?" She asked the man who was still standing by the gate waiting. The vet looked around some more. She took out a treat from her pocket and held it out to the Arab mare. The mare seemed docile and sweet.

This was Expect’s first time in a trailer, and it was scary. The mare tried to look around, but her head was tethered to the bar in front of her head. Snorting anxiously she watched the world flash by in front of her, the greens blurring together. The truck pulled into the auction yard and the mare was jostled around. The door to the trailer was thrown open and light flooded in, shocking the mare slightly. Her chestnut coat glistened with sweat in the afternoon sun, the scar on her shoulder looked dark in contrast to her coat, her white markings were grey with sweat. She was lead into a chute in preparation to be in the ring. The first horse was sold quickly, and Expect was let into the ring.
The pen was just big enough to get up to a canter for a few strides, but not enough for a full run. People passed by, not giving the fiery mare a second glance. Hanging her head over the top of the fence she nickered out to the passing people and horses, earning a few glances and chuckles from children. Moving back to her water bucket she took a few sips before hearing footsteps towards her pen. Expect turned to see a young woman walking towards the pen. The woman asked the man how much the mare was and he said, “$100. She’s a fiery one though. Her name is High Expectations, but generally gets called Expect.” The mare nosed the woman’s hand, and took the treat gently and ate it eagerly. Expect nosed the woman’s pocket, searching for more treats.

The cotor laughed as the mare nudged her pocket for more treats. She sighed and pulled out one more. "I'll take her." She's need a place to goard her but there were plenty of places around here open for boarders. She got a treat from her pocket and held it out to the mare. The arab was fiesty that was for sure but she was sweet and docile. Luckily she had a trailer and truck just incase she had found something here. She hadn't been in town long. She figured the mare was healthy. She would be a good saddleseat and huntseat prospect as well as maybe endurance if she had it in her.
